Headlight Door Adjustment
Bought a '79 L48 with pretty much everything original last month, my first Corvette ever! Only 68K on the odometer, garaged, and all maintenance kept up. I'm working out a couple issues (back end needs the new spring, speakers need replacement, etc) but one issue I haven't gotten a handle on yet is the headlight doors. They open and close just fine, but the back edge of the doors (the hinge side) scrape on the body every time they open or close, and it's caused some of the paint on both the door and the body to wear off as well as a little of the fiberglass. I laid on my back w/ a flashlight for an hour over the weekend trying to figure out the right way to move the doors a little forward, but can't figure it out. Any help?

Artsvette73: Thanks. That's exactly what happened; the suppport separated, and had to be reglued. Took three weeks. // Why the AH-1 in the background of your picture - you a snake driver?

I used Fusor made by the Lord Corp, The gun will cost around 65.00
