From: Inside every color vette there is a blue one trying to come out!
Re: does ur vette do BURN-OUTS ? (Xracer)
When I 1st got it, I was out one evening with friends (following them) from dead stop put it in 1st and nailed it. made it 3/4 through intersection with smoke and spinning tires. Can smoker 'em from rolling start and chirp in 3rd...now I am through playing around and drive like a normal human being...every once in a great while, the animal will come out. :D
No, it just squats and goes. Road & Track tested the 1979 L-82 at 15.6 and 91 mph in April of 1979. So I am not terribly ashamed of this time at the track last summer. My first try at the drags. Completely stock engine with all smog installed.
I have a 79 L-48 with a 4speed,and it doesnt have much power, but my 84 has a performance chip in it and I can kick it down at 40mph and lay a pretty good patch, and it has an automatic, my wife just rolls here eyes!!!!!
Well the 95 Ragtop will light 'em up pretty good, but I'm not sure if the old 71 will be able too or not. :D Hopefully by the time the weather turns warm I'll be able to test it.
Hold the pedal to the medal engaging the rev limiter. Pop the clutch. Car squats and takes off laying 80 feet of rubber. With stock tires it will spin considerably. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
