The '71 smokes them good (235's) and the '84 smokes a little and barks into 2nd (255's). The 84 and the '71 ought to do a little more come spring time!
Depends, If I trounce it off the line I do quite the smoke show. If I ease into first then trounce on it it starts to get squirley at the top of first gear. Now with the old 225/70r15's it was far more squirley then it is now and smoke shows in first were almost at will. The bigger meats calmed it down quite a bit.
Nothing. What'd you expect from a smog-choked, automatic, slower than a Ford F-350, 3.08 rear-geared, peanut cammed, Comp Controlled QJet, 305ci, California Corvette?
It gets the looks though! I just always take it easy and make people think I'm not racing them. :D
Easily with 255 50 16's but I just got some 275 60 15's and I haven't tried yet  hmmmmm I think I need to go outside to find out :jester :reddevil
The maco with the 383 stroker would spin on command. Now the engine is out and we are building a blown big block for it.
The 94 will spin if you turn the traction control off.
Yes, mine will light up pretty good if I get into the gas and engage the clutch quicker than normal. Try to avoid this as I know it is hard on the driveline components. However.....sometimes my maturity level isn't as high as it should be and I like the sound and the seat of the pants kick when the tires do stick and the car rushes forward! April isn't too far away.....
