Default firewall hole?

Im getting a new digital ign box and coil, I planning on mounting the control unit in my glove box, just wondering where would be the best place to drill a hole in firewall, to bring wires from dizzy to the digital ign box.

any idea's

cheers

Mine is in the passenger side behind the map pocket. No glove box in 72. I drilled a hole below the heater box pretty much inline with the starter wires. I run the two wires for the distributer and the big lead for the 12 volt power to the starter lug and the big ground wire to the bellhousing bolt.

There are rubber push in grommets that hold the firewall insulation in place. On the engine side you can cut the nipple off and run your wires through there.

Looking back on this it is exactly what I did. Built in rubber grommet so it does not chafe the wires.

That's what I did with mine also.
