hazard switch
i had to replace the ignition switch sector on my 72 t&t column.
how does the metal hazard switch bar ( the piece the plastic **** is screwed into) fit into the turn signal switch? there's an oval depression in the turn switch, does the tip of the bar fit into this depression? it looks as though it should, but when i assemble it that way, the hazard button does not extend.
it seems as though the hazard bar is supposed to touch a metal bar on the turn switch near the oval, and complete a circuit to ground, but that couldn't occur if the bar seats in the oval.
help!
