Default bolt size questions, PLEASE HELP

Hey all, i have some questions about some bolts.
1)What is the size for the bolts that hold on the front calipers.
2) what is the size for the bolts that hold the power steering pump and bracket on?
thanks all,
Steve

I don't remember the front caliper bolts, but the power steering is all 3/8 bolts except for the support that comes off the back of the pump and goes to the front exhaust manifold bolt. That one I think is 3/8 into the head and 5/16 thru the bracket. Or maybe the other way around.

Is that what you need or do you need grip length and thread ?

OK, I don't have a clue what the lengths are but I can tell you that the 3/8 bolts have a 9/16 head and are USS (course) thread.

Bolt sizes are determined by Diameter and Threads Per Inch.

Yes, 7/16 - 20, not 9/16.
This is a grade 8, fine thread bolt which is difficult to find around my area.
Anyone know of a vendor that sells by the piece, not by the box?

Everyone has Grade 8 in a coarse thread, just not in fine thread. I can even get the coarse thread in stainless steel! It seems like all the independent Auto Supply Stores are gone. They used to have large assortments of Doorman/Motormite hardware. As a matter of fact, there is only one real machine shop left that I would trust with more than a lawnmower engine.

There is a large Ace hardware store in my area, I even have a rewards card! Unfortunately, all of the fasteners are in an employee access area only. You have to tell an Ace Hardware employee at the counter what you want. This is the first place I tried only to be told by a teenager that they only stock Grade 8 in a coarse thread. I am getting too old to jump over counters.
