76 vette with battery drainage problem
newb here. my friend has a 76 vette. Power windows and door locks, t-tops, 350/auto. computers are not friendly with him so i am posting the questions for him. any help would be appreciated. We are trying to figure out a drainage problem. with a new battery and good alt the battery drains down in about 2 days time. fixing to do the ammeter check with fuses being pulled and go from there. any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Disconnect the battery, put a 12v test light between the battery post and the cable, close the doors. Light on? Start pulling fuses one at a time, starting with the clock, and then the radio. Then pull the connector on the alternator. Just keep walking thru the systems until you find the offender.

Battery drain
One of the very common problems with battery drainage is a light remaining on.........Check your light under the hood and make sure it is going off and staying off....... best time to check is at night or in a dark place and see if there is any light on under hood when it is closed.
You could also remove bulb and see if the battery stops draining.
