Carb rebuild kit question
Hello,
I'm planning to rebuild an extra Q-jet for my 1980 Vette. Its for a stock engine and I want to rebuild it back to stock specs. A nice cool weather project. I went to Advance Auto Parts to get the rebuild kit, they have several but all of them say its for the L-82 carb #. My questions is this, will this kit work for a L-48 carb? Are there any differences in the carb on the L-82? Also what is the primary main jet and rod combo for an L-82 (this will tell me if its basically the same carb). My manual says for an L-48 its 71/42. Thanks.
