Will the seats of a new gen corvette fit in a 69 vette?

It's not a direct bolt in but yes they can be installed. In fact a lot of members have hem installed. Be aware, they are taller seats, so unless you lower the floor pans you'll lose a few inches of headroom.

Look in Corvette Fever's web site under "project cars". They have a detailed article on installing C-5 sports seats in a 1963.

Yes, 78-82 seats fit using your original tracks. Same thing for C4 seats. C5 and C6 seats will fit, look for archive posts on these. Also Fiero seats fit.

Just finished making the mounts and installing C5 standard seats. The drivers side (power seat) actually sits 1" lower than the passenger (manual seat) side. This was done by making the drivers side front mounts lower than the passenger side. I couldn't see not having a power seat on the drivers side.

Thanks to Craig (glassman74) for the photos of his mounts and the numerous phone calls where he most graciously provided his input as I bounced seat mounting ideas off of him
