We have a 71'coupe that has just one horn is this correct? When we bought this, it was in with all the stuff that was included. I can only find one location on the support where it might go (drivers side) and I can only find one (green) wire in the harness up front on the drivers side that will connect.
Was this standard and the dual horns where optional?
I had the same questions recently on my 71 Coupe & it turned out that it had one horn & it was a green wire on the driver's side of the center support area
bought a used horn with a different note and installed near original. Simple ground and splice. With two horns, pedestrians can hear me coming when my brakes go out.

One damn HORN here also on my 71.
It will have DUEL NOTE horns soon. One horn is just pathetic sounding!
I plan on removing the terminal out of the OEM horn plug, and adding another wire with an identical plug to the OEM plug.
It will look stock when I'm done!
Paul. I agree 100% You need a good horn when the brakes go out! Wife was there a few months ago! She took the CORRECT evasive maneuvers! WHEW!

And thats exactly what I did. I now have dual horns without any permanent modifications. Now I can horn at any time with no fear of people laughing at me!
Thanks Gang I thought that after looking into the FSM that it was showing 2 horns, well then we stated to look all over where in the h#$* the other one would plug in or where it would go into the crossmember. Now all I got to do is to figure out why it won't beep. Maybe that was why it was apart in a baggie in the box of tricks!
