OK so on my way home sunday from a drive i noticed that my turn signals werent working.. drove for a while and they start working again.
seem like they go in and out ???? any ideas.... ??? TIA
That's a good test. When the turn signals aren't working, push the hazard button and see if they do. If they do, your problem is the turn signal flasher unit (under right side dash pad); if they don't, you likely have a grounding problem with the turn signals.
I do have hazards work fine. my others are not working. where would the ground be for the flashers.. and if the relay was bad would it work on and off???

Next time the signals don't work, try the hazards and see if they work fine. They use a separate flasher so you'd have a baseline.

The signal flasher is mounted up under the passenger side knee pad. It's clipped just under the back side, and not too hard to find. The flasher can go bad intermittently and the fact that your hazards work when the signals don't indicate that the bulbs, sockets, and wiring are all probably fine.
Replace the flasher..cheap and easy, and see if that fixes your problem.
can i get these at any parts store.. or special order ?

The flasher is separate from the resistor. It looks like you found your problem.
That other "item" is a filter capacitor to prevent 'clicks' in your radio reception. It is a separate item but hooked up with the flasher unit. Sounds like you got it back together OK.
yeah i did thanks.. i dont think i need that capacitor, i have an afermarket radio and bet i dont need it..
