Default PCV valve size

I currently have 2 breathers and want to replace one of them with a PCV valve. I'm using the Moroso baffled grommets because the valve covers do not have baffles. Can I get a PCV valve with a 1" body to fit in place of the breather? I remember only seeing PCV valves with a 3/4" body.

I know at stores like Autozone they have the PCV valves on a rack on the floor, and I know I have seen a few with a larger diameter body maybe very close to 1".

My other thought is, and this might seem a bit Bubba, but what if you were to use some rubber hose, like heater hose, and make a sleeve to act as a spacer? It would seal just fine, and the hose is the right thickness that you could easily get from .75" to 1" for a good tight seal.

I was going to be going right by an Autozone when I leave for lunch. If you like I can stop by and measure a few.

Thanks Matt, I didn't realize they kept these things out on the floor. I can stop on my way home from work and see what they have.

He can't just change the grommet because he is using special grommets with baffles.

Your speed shop has baffled grommets for the correct PCV valve.
