EGR Valve

I want to replace the EGR alve on my 82. The parts store says there are a few listings for it and they need the P/N. Mine has # 2807 on top but they say it is a longer.

Can anyone tell me the correct part number for this EGR valve? Car is not a Calif. car.

17082807 production EGR valve was gm P/N 17078423. Hope this helps.

I had a new one brought in and found it to be working exactly like the old one when you actuated the diaphram by hand.

I cleand the original one and reinstalled it. Works fine.
