Relay rod removal?
I think I might have screwed up the threaded end of the relay rod trying to get the valve back on. I'm thinking of taking off the relay rod and taking both pieces to a machine shop and see if they can mate them, but I'm having trouble getting the relay rod off. I've taken off the nuts from the inner tie rods and the idler arm. The book says to take off the relay rod from the inner tie rods and then the idler arm, but they are not budging, I tried my pitman arm puller but they still won't budge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I used a pickle fork attachment to an air powered impact hammer. I first tried a hammer and a traditional pickle fork with no luck. With the impact hammer powered fork, al the tie rods just fell apart.
