Bogs down when cold
Okay, so I recently tackled and finally got past a nagging water in the gas tank issue with my 72 and she is running pretty great when she is warm. When it's cold and for the first few miles... that's not the case...
Then cold and even after idling for a few minutes, if I try to press the gas pedal at anything other than really slow it bogs down for a bit then usually can recover if I let off and press slow.
If I press slow and get it going then it's fine. This is only when it's just warming up. The annoying thing is that even afte say 3-5 mintues of warm up this may happen and i'm bogging/jerking my way out of the subdivision
This also results in some backfiring through the carb too.
Once it wind it out a bit and get it warmed it pretty much acts good. Warm idle is about 900 right now plus or minus a 100.
Any ideas on a plan of attack? Could be idle circuit issues?
Timing was good last I checked. Need to confirm dwell.
