Default is this form overheating ??

While driving back home temp gate start to increase and I could not stop the car as iam in the middle of a very heavy crowded jam by the time I reach home it tem gage was full
And I could hear the water is boiling in the reserve tank

after reaching home found out the the 2nd fan was not working due to electrician forgot to connect it back after install msd box ,,so I connected it ,, few days later I noticed the car like its not getting enough fuel while driving it in a low rpm and not idling have checked all connection ,vacuum, cables etc, so I though its time to change the spark plugs ,, had not been changed for about 1 year ,, now after plugs changed it got worse I mean like its running on 4 or 6 cylinders and not idling and have to keep gas pedal pressed all the time
took it to friend garage and after inspection he told me there is some lose in my crank ,

or some loose piece in the crank forget what is it called in English sorry ,, although no clear sound or knocking

could this be from that day when it got overheated ??

any feedback is appreciated,,,,

thks ,,regards

If it got noticeably worse after changing the plugs, I would check to make sure the plug wires are in the correct order, check the condition of the wires, double check all vacuum connections, and also check the timing.

The overheating might have been the root of the problem. Check your oil for coolant and your coolant for oil. If the car is always in need of coolant and it's not leaking then you are burning it which might account for the poor performance.

It could have overheated enough to burn holes in the spark plug wire boots.

That much heat is hard on the heads. If all else fails I would look for a cracked head or a blown head gasket.
