Hi, I would love some advice on how to redo the foam fill inside my drivers seat and also the bolts/clips that adjust the backrest are broken, I purchased the replacement parts and also a new plate, can I do this myself or do I need to take it somewhere? Thanks!

You can get all the parts you need to do what you want to do from our vendors. I highly recommend Wilcox.
Using the parts, and technical assistance from both this forum and Wilcox himself, it's a snap to do the work.
The seat foam and covers would be the harder of the tasks but many have done them before and a quick search will bring up a few threads where guys have outlined what they did to their seats.
As long as you can weld you can likely repair anything that may have gone wrong with your seats. I bought my foam and covers from Dr. Rebuild a few years ago, just followed the little instruction sheet that came with them, and they came out better than I had ever really imagined. As DB said, Willcox is also a great vendor and they also provide good tech support for the forum. As long as you're possessed of reasonable intelligence you should have no real trouble with the job.
The floor plate that holds the bottom of the seat to the floor, I was told that I could use longer screws to hold it up higher or something like that., regular seats not pace, can I replace for the 79 seats?
