Hello guys,
Looking for some advise.. My 1978 L-48 350 mainly stock with an edelbrock carb and manifold was running weird.. what I mean is from a dead stop if I pushed hard into the gas it would bog down and act gas starved.. well I adjusted the two screws on the front and leaned it out... idles a little lower and seems to not bog down as much but I still have some issues there with it bogging down... any advise on this guys???
If it was gas starved, you would experience a lean backfire through the carb along with the bog. You can also bog from an overly rich condition. Here, you get the bog but no backfire. It can also be timing related. Check timing and experiment with your accelerator pump shot.
