C3 headlight question
i am in the process of fitting a new set of headlights to my 1968 coupe. (it had custom recessed lights when i bought it) anyway, last night while mounting them and trying to adjust the fit, i noticed that one of the headlight housing brackets is cracked. it held up when i bolted it in place but i'm concerned about the reliability of it. does anyone know how i could fix this before it possibly breaks? i know this is some kind of brittle cast material. can it be welded? thanks for any info you can offer. rick
