Help in valuing a 1978 vette

A woman a my company recently lost her husband. He had a 1978 vette and she is now looking to sell it. She knows nothing about the car and is asking for help in figuring out what it is worth.
This is the info I have gathered so far.
1978 - Silver (Not a pace car)
VIN 1Z87L8S413690
From the VIN this is the smaller 185hp engine (L-82??)
She says the condition is very good.
She is checking on milage.
What are the important factors in figuring out what the car is worth? From what I can see the values range greatly on the 78's.
Any help/advice is appreciated. I don't want to see her get ripped off.
Thanks!
Biggest things are condition of the paint, milage (condition of engine). Frame rot, windshiedl support rot? There are many things that can set you back $500-$1000. Tariling arm rebuilt, new heads (does it smoke?), rear end, interior?....
Here's our price guide for you to look at:

She says she has someone that "Really Wants It" I am afraid they really want to rip her off. No numbers have been discussed yet.
But it sounds like these cars do go in the 5-6k range with the L-48 and then more $ based on condition.
5-6K seems a little on the lower end of the scale, although if she wants to sell it quickly.......
