Default Post Picture Test

Hi all
I'm just trying photobucket out. I want to see if I can actually get a picture to post. If it works, the picture is of my engine. (cell phone shot) It dyno'd at 686HP and 662Trq with only 6psi. I'll post more later this weekend like specs and more current photos if the picture posts.

Thanks for looking.

That looks awesome man, good work and yep, the picture posted perfectly.

I might add that if you could size them just a bit smaller it would be easier for everyone. When the image is too large for the page the reader has to side scroll, and that includes all the text in the posts below it. After a while it gets old and people stop reading the thread.

I can suggest a fast and easy resizing program if you need a quick right-click kind of resizer so you won't have to use an art program.

Thanks.
I've been working on it for a long time. I was looking for a clean 700-750HP. Unfortunately I didn't have a selection of pulleys to dial it in when I was at the dyno. It looks like I'll hit my goal. Heck it makes 622HP and 600Trq with 3psi. I'll drive it at low boost next summer while I save money for the tranny and rearend upgrades.

The picture is a wee bit big isn't it. I see I can resize in photoshop, I'll give that a try later when I post some buildup pictures and engine specs. I'm at work at the moment, so I'll have to continue more updates later at home. I'd be happy to try your resizing method.

PM me your email address and I will send it to you. All you do is 'right' click on the image icon or thumbnail and the menu has 'Resize Pictures' as an option. You click that, and you'll see 3 size options, and two advanced check boxes that allow you to resize the original or it will automatically copy it to the same location but at the new size.

I found that Large is a perfect size for posting pics on forums.

You might just check photobucket out too. There is a setting you can make to resize your pictures as you download them. I use the 800x600 15"screen setting. They are a little large but do fit the screen.

PS after re checking my post I see it IS a little big.

Here's another at 320x240 medium

I did try resizing a photo in photobucket last night. It seemed easy enough. I'll have to try to scan a dyno sheet at work today, and see if I can post one this weekend, along with my engine specs, and some of the progress photo's. Great fun!

Thanks for the help.

That's a kickin photo for a test. Where are you located? Do the profile thing.

Thanks, I'll see about setting up my profile this weekend. I'd like to set up an avatar too. Lots to do and learn.

I have next week off to work on the car. I hope to get the windshield, windows, and back glass installed. I'm struggling with the fuel line routing from the fuel pump, and will most likely post a few pictures to get some ideas from the forum members. I really need to hear it running in the car again. It helps keep me motivated!

Back to work for me, I've got a busy day ahead of me.

Oh, I'm in MN. It's 10 degrees today. I'm sure glad I have a heated garage.
