i'll try.

get some wood plywood, 2 by fours etc

drill a hole in two planks the size of the inner dia.

get a bolt and line it through, putting the assy together in order - wood, poly, sway bar eye, poly wood, axle through everything.

use at least 2 c clamps and progressively tighten them until the poly goes in or gets completely torn up..

I dont recall a press fit on my front sway bar. just a bolt through and big formed type cup washers?

i hope i provided inspiration to do it better, in the least!

jim.

ha funny! or until they get completely torn up! you guys are great in the face of adversity !
"wood, poly, sway bar eye, poly wood, axle through everything." -- you have two polys and i only need one. still trying to figuyre this one.
my idea was long bolt, washer ,poly, bar eye, socket big enough to hit outsdie of eye but allow the bushing to enter and then washer and nut. but they keep tourqing off center and they dont slip through! aaaaaaaarrrrggggg so much for an easy weekend project! where i put that beer?
