Default water on the car floor

Hey guys i need your help. One day, i noticed that after it rains, the carpet would be wet. I removed the carpet to see if there would be any trace of were the water would come from but i couldn't see any clues. I know that it isn't coming from the ttops. I have heard that it might becoming from the window seal? Does anyone know how I can be sure where the water is coming from and how can i fix it?
any feedback would be helpful

Leave the carpet out and leave the car out in the rain. You should see it.

Couple of tricks. One is to run a hose over the suspect area and look for tracks. another way is to close the car up tight, turn the heater blower on high and spray the window seals, tops and cowl with soapy water. If it blows bubbles you found the leak.

Remove your kick panels ... then look through the air damper openings and see if there is water inside and if they are plugged with debris.

A rotten windshield frame will yield water down the firewall, soaking the carpets on either side, or both.
