Where is the stock battery location on 80,81?

Yes, right behind drivers seat, in the driver side battery compartment. Battery connections on the battery, (side post) face to the rear of the car. Positive cable goes on the driver side of the side post connection, and the negative connection goes on the passenger side of the battery side post connection.

The battery is behind the driver's seat. The battery is in the same location on all 68-82 vettes.
