trans lock up converter question
here's my question. refering to the vaccum switch controling the trans converter(1980 L-82). does it need manifold or ported vaccum? engine been pulled, and lot of the emission junk gone. but forgot to check if that switch needs manifold or ported. I know there some '80 guys out there that will know.

The Canister is run off manifold vacuum. The main vacuum line to it is branched off the PCV hose. This is non ported (manifold vacuum). The vacuum hose connected to the transmission convertor switch is a signal line to the Canister.
