Auto RX ?
Any advantage or possible problems in using AutoRX in a 72 LT1 engine with 88000 miles on it? I was told it would be a good idea to use this product to clean up the interior engine parts. I use dino oil.

I dont like using any cleaners.You dont really know what it might release all at once into the oiling system.If you get some crud to let loose and it covers the oil pump screen you could create some real issues.I would rather just do a few quick oil changes or just drop the pan and clean everything up and maybe replace the oil pump.Dropping the pan is an easy job and going back with a 1 piece pan gasket makes it leak free.
