#3Re: Brakes - Me.....AGAIN!!!

I loosened the m/c from the booster without breaking the lines loose. I couldn't tell very much other that the rear portion of the m/c is free of fluid and not leaking there. Taking approximate measurements as best as I could under the conditions, it appears as if the rod is at the correct lenght to engage the m/c just as it is snugged up against the booster. The parts store I purchased the m/c didn't have a replacement in stock (lifetime warranty) and had to order one. It should be here by Tuesday.
I hate to admit it, but I give up. The weather is turning colder and windy, and working under a carport with wind blowing on me as it comes across the lake, chills me to the bone. Now my back is hurting more and the collar bone I broke a few weeks ago is like a nagging wife....just won't quit bothering me! LOL!! I'll check with some of our more reputable garages in the are to see if they want to take on a challange. Thank the good Lord this is not my daily driver. I'd be walking. I have enough of a pedal to take it somewhere safely, and will have the replacement m/c and a new p-valve on hand for them if needed. If i had a warm garage and a lift, I'd continue on my own. I still love the car (and this forum too...it's the greatest) and thank all who have put in their two cents worth.
I'll post a new thread if and when the problem is ever resolved. And if nobody wants to mess with it, it will still be here next spring when the weather is better and hopefully, my ole body is too. Cheers, ya'll.
Andy (there's no stopping me now!!!!..Hahahahahaha!!!)
