Contemporary Corvette advertizes '80 style seats in average condition for $400/set. Has anybody bought a set from them? The price seems OK compared with Ebay.

You can almost get a set of C5 seats for not much more than that.
I personally think that with a little bit of hunting and a few calls to some of our favorite Corvette parts recyclers that you can find a better deal than that if what you really want are C4 seats.

What is included? Tracks? Would you put "average" (translation poor, basically a mess) condition in your car?
Thanks for the comments. I think I'll hunt around to find a better deal. Do the c4 or c5 seats need to have the tracks modified to use in a c3? Or do you use the c3 tracks?

There are a lot of ways it's been done that you can find by searching the subject. Seems I recall the C3 tracks are best modified to use with C4 seats, and C5 seats are better without tracks at all. They sit higher than C3 seats and losing the tracks gets you some of the height back.
