I'm replacing my suspension, T/A's and U-joints. While I'm at it, I was thinking about powder coating my driveshaft and halfshafts with one of the Eastwood chrome-like finishes. Anyone ever do this and do I need to worry about rebalancing the driveshaft afterwards?

A very small diameter hole drilled in one end (centered) would relieve any pressure buildup and would not affect balance. If the hole was not perfectly centered you might have to keep the RPM below 30 grand......
At first I this this question might fall into the "stupid" question category, now I'm glad I asked. It's starting to sound much simpler to just paint it.
This is a picture of my 79 DS that was chrome powder coated. It came out fine, but POR silver looks almost as good. I did my fuel tank with it and you can't tell the difference. The output yoke was painted POR silver, see what I mean? Woops....I havta touch-up that red spot!
