Default C3 Harness Bar

I have two harness bars left. I will not be making any more once these are gone. There direct bolt in and do not affect the functionality of the convertible top (soft or hard). Its a great way to stiffen the birdcage and mount a 4 or 5 point harness. I have one triple chrome plated and one powder coated black. Shoot me an email if your interested... dtengle@hotmail.com

what types of tools did you use to bend the bars?
Did you buy them prebent?
What type of tubing?

The harness bars are tig welded, tube bent, jig built, and made out of a 2-in OD
0.120-in wall thickness 4130 chromoly steel. Quality for me is a must!

They will fit all C3 convertibles. The harness bar bolts directly to the "bird cage", i.e. the same place where your convertible top bolts to. The soft top will remain functional with the C3 harness bar installed. All after market seats will work with only a few degrees of seat inclination loss with the C3 harness bar installed. The only modification that will need to be made is to cut a small section from the plastic covers that cover where the convertible top bolts to the c-channel pillar. This only needs to be done if you want to keep the covers. Personally, I just removed mine and if you do so there will be no modification needed.

Absolutely! Very nice job you do. I just helped my brother put a 6pt prebent rollcage in his firebird and to keep busy have been looking at what it would take to do a custom cage in a vette. Any info on your tube bender? which one are you useing and how do you like it?
Where do you buy your tubing? local distributor?
Like I said, very nice work
