http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1568244426-post64.htmlNo, don't confuse regular Seafoam with Seafoam with Pertronix octane booster. That's just silly- the two are not comparable. However, regular Seafoam can be upgraded at home by simply acquiring a double lifetime supply of petrified voodoo chicken bones from www.eBay.ni (Nigeria only).
The idea is that you wave the bones at the car while you pour the Seafoam into the oil and the gas- all at the same time. You can put all the Seafoam in the gas OR the oil, but only if you don't have three hands. Otherwise that would be discrimination against the handicapped.
This product prevents bad things from happening. If bad things never happen, there is your proof that it works.
In the rare circumstance that bad things do happen, it simply means that you waited too long to start using the product, you didn't use enough, or you didn't use it properly. This does not mean that the product is no good. If it wasn't good, they would would simply tell you instead of taking your money. See how honest they are?
I hope this explanation puts your mind at rest. Sorry for the confusion.
You might want to lend them your chicken bones however. They say (you know, 'they' that are always 'saying') that the 'bones are more powerful than anything you can buy in a can or bottle.
Maybe they should call it 'snake bone' instead of 'snake oil'.
I'm glad that this is all settled now.
