auto shifters
just wondering if anyone has switched to an aftermarket shifter setup like B&M or somthing.. was looking at some om the jegs website just wondering whats possible.. thanks

There are a few guys who have fitted an aftermarket shifter in their C3 Vettes but they all involved mods. There isn't a shifter made as a straight bolt in for our cars- I've done the research.
The closest I've found is illustrated in the link below. It may give you a few ideas about how to do it.

I drag race regularly and love my B&M ProStick, but it required significant modifications. I welded up an adapter plate that would raise the shifter, and allow it to bolt to the stock holes. BUT, I also had to move the heater/AC controls to where the ash tray was. Now that I'm going to an aftermarket AC setup, it won't matter. I'll just use a hot rod type control panel mounted elsewhere.
