Supercharged 383 ideas
I am building a 383 monster for my body-off rebuild of my '80.
I need info on what & where to buy a supercharged system that will fit under the stock hood. I know I've asked this before, but can't find the info. I'll need a serpentine system, will be used with a DeWitt elect fan radiator and will need A/C.
I've got the engine; block, heads, etc. I need to know what all I would need to make this dream come true. Intake, serpentine system, supercharger, electronics, etc.
I'm over in Iraq surfing for parts for when I get back. I've already spent all I need to spend on Amazon & e-Bay, now I have to focus on finishing up the Vette project.

There was a link here last year with a C3 that had one under the stock hood, think it was a '77 or so. I'm interested in doing this to my '76/427 sb in a couple of years, so I will be watching closely.

The only supercharger that will work and be under the hood is a centrafugle blower like a procharger or paxton novi 2000.The easiest would be a roots type that goes on top of your engine,like mine in my avatar.I run a 144 weiand blower.

I found that yellow '77 with the ATI procharger. I still can't believe they got it under the hood. This is pretty much what I want to do, but with my efi 427 motor (eventually and with lower compression pistons, shorter rods etc.)
