My favorite part of the 80-82 front end is the way the nose hangs out in front of the spoiler, the side profile is one of the coolest automotive designs I can think of. So, I would vote no on the Ecklers spoiler. I am open minded and usually like custom stuff, but it would have to go back farther under the nose like the stock spoiler...
I think that the spoiler you pictured above would look good along with some ground effects on the sides, or a little custom spoiler on the back, but by itself, I am thinking it would look kind of "added on desperate attempt at custom". I mean, with a mean looking aerodynamic front spoiler like that, I think it should have a cool rear spoiler to go along with it. Let us know what you decide, both the stock spoiler and the one pictured above are really cool.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the same. Ecklers sells a whole body kit, that comes with the front spoiler pictured above, ground effects, and a rear spoiler. Doesn't look that bad. Only $1000 too! The front spoiler by its self costs around $260, which is still cheaper than the stock front spoiler.
Here's a pic:
Most of the catalogs like Corvette Central carry the same kit. Find the lowest price and the hold Ecklers to their claim of 1% off other peoples prices :yesnod: I like the look but I agree with the others. You need to
do more than the front
:seeya I think it'll look good. :yesnod: But does you front spoiler bottom out now? Because I've known a couple of people that have torn up a spoiler or two. :cry

Yeah, that's why I need one. Actually it was like that when I bought it. THe previous owner must have dragged it pretty good, because it shoved the center part of the spoiler up about 2 inches. For now, I put a piece of black stripping stuff across. I need to get it fixed though. The original spoiler is like three pieces, and you have to buy them all seperate, and that adds up to over $300. It would be easier to put a one piece deal on. I don't know though. Still thinking about it.
I have the complete kit on mine....however I installed a 550 lb sping up front and 17" rims....so the car sits perfect....you still have to be careful around drive ways and dips.....go slow, and at an angle....if you slam it in there, the nose will dip in, and nip the spoiler edge....You will also have to install sheet aluminum at the lower scoop to make the air go up towards the radiator....otherwise it will shoot straight pass under the engine without passing through the radiator...you'll have hot engine during high speed runs. My car runs at very low temps with A/C on full blast. :seeya Cappy
