Default electrical connectors

here's what I have.. dual elec, cooling fans for my 80 vette. pulls 11 amps each. wired to each fan. here's what i'm looking for..electrical connectors something neat, cool looking. other than the crimp on style. and something that be disconnected when I need too. something that can handle 12 gauge wires.

What I would like is you guys to show me your fan connectors so I can see what you guys used. and if you could please fill me in the manufacture in which you used. thanks

I mounted my power relay to the top of the shroud, that runs/mounts the Dual Spals.....with one wire going to the alternator and the control wire goes into the harness to the computer behind the glove box, IF/when I remove the whole thing as a unit, only 3 wires...the one to the frame, the one off the alt output stud, and cut the one to the computer, splice it in the harness cover later...

I solder all connections....and use gounding star washers to the naked steel frame, and then cover with a dap of black RTV to stop rust/corrosion....

The fewer connectors the better.....

Radio shack 2 pin interlocking connector.
P/N 274-145 is good for 10-14 g wire.
Use shrink tubing to seal the wires in the back side of the connector from water, etc.
Then shrink tube the assembly when they're plugged together.
BTW, radio shack did not carry the crimping tool. You'll need a molex tool or "F" crimper.

I used a pin and socket waterproof connector for my dual fans. It's the same two-piece connectors GM uses in a lot of their cars. Very factory looking and low key.

Has anybody used these. http://www.sherco-auto.com/krimpaseal.htm

The heat shrink is right with the connector. Just crimp it and heat it and it is sealed. I was working a show and the guy next to me had these and they are pretty slick. For terminal ends I am going to use these. A little pricey but they are sealed up.

I also like the weather pack connectors for the connections.
