Default Corbeau seats

Has anyone installed Corbeau LG1 seats in their C3. If so how well did they fit?

I installed a CR1, and from the dimensions they are virtually identical, with the LG being just a tiny bit smaller in some measurments. I used the C3 brackets from Corbeau, which i highly recomend for this swap,, however, the Seat is currently pulled. reason why?? seat height. Even after shaving about 1" from the bottom foam cusion, the seat height is still a bit (2"?) too high for my liking at 6'. Wouldn't recomend this swap if your over 5'10". If your below this, this might be a good swap though.

I have the A! Wides in my 81. They are a tight fit but very comfortable.

They are actually for sale though. I am going with a two-tone Black and Torch Red leather setup for a change of pace. Have the new seats about ready to install.

I installed Corbeau LG1s in my '78. They are a tight fit and are a bit taller sitting height than the '79 seats I had in there. I would not recommend these for anyone taller than 5'11", but the support is superb and just the ticket for autocross or high speed. The back is a bit shorter than the CR1, so there is more rear vision.

I modified the stock seat tracks in the front to lower the front of the seat which was too high in the front of the seat pan before the mod.

Three inch wide lap and shoulder belts are used for competitive events, but I can still use the stock belts for everyday.
