A few more pics of Denver Tech session with Lars (part 2)
Wow Blue72 how did you get all your pics up so fast? I thought I was doing well getting them up this evening.
Lars working, everyone else, drinking.
Thanks again Lars for having us all up it was great. I enjoyed meeting everyone and I learned quite a bit. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

Wow. That black baby is *shiny*. I need to learn how to use an orbital buffer. Man oh man... Did it get all the surface scratches and whatnot out?

Looks like another great gift to the Corvette community from Lars. I have only been here a short time but from what I have seen Lars is one of the most helpful and giving people around.

Ken -
Great pictures and a great time with the beer sess.... eh... I mean... TECH session! Always fun meeting the people from the Forum - putting a few faces with the names.
Everyone -
The neat thing about the session we had was the turnout from ALL the Forums... we had people from the C1/C2 Forum, from C3, C4 and C5. It was a pretty informal event, with people stopping by for a bit, having a few beers, and rotating on through. At one time, we had 22 people present. We did a little lecture and overview on paints, paint types, and the technique and theori of the sand-and-rub process, and then applied those techniques to Dan's car. We chose his car a test subject due to the poor condition of the paint: it had deep scratches in it, lots of swirls, a few chips, and a bunch of Latex Paint overspray from a home project. In the end, the car actually came out better than the pictures can show. Really a great time. But next tech session, we're doing something where I have to work a little less: It's Q-Jet rebuilding and distributor setups next time!

What?? Purely an optical illusion, Scott!! :yesnod:
Hmmm....the photos I looked at clearly showed Lars lolling about, swilling prime brew, while the rest of us busted tail on Dan's 79. :yesnod: :yesnod:
Must have missed something in the translation..... :jester
Right, Lars???
