when I pull the **** to turn on the headlights in my 72 the lights come up and work perfect, however the dash lights only work when I turn the **** completely left, which I assume is supposed to turn on all interior lights. Here is the kicker, when I turn the **** completely left, only the dash lights come on, the light in the rear interior, and kickpanel lights do not come on.
Anyone think th root of the problem is the switch itself? Any help is appreciated. Just wanted to check before I go purchase one..
Thank You for your reply.. I was thinking it has to be the headlight switch, but would a messed up switch cause the rear light as well as the kickpanel lights not work? It seems like the issue for the dash lights, considering they come on when I adjust the switch.
The rear interior light, as well as the kickpanel lights don't come on when I open the doors either. I have checked all of the bulbs, and have replaced the rear light completely and nothing..
I guess the only answer is to replace the switch and go from there..
