I took your advice Paul74 and rebuilt the damaged distributor. I have several old/used HEI distributors (none are tach drive) so I dismantled them, drilled out the spring pins installed (pressed them in and welded them) in my tach drive shaft, replaced the rotor, module plug and will have the dizzy back in the car in the morning. Wish me luck!
