Hi Guys,
I am re-assembling a 68 and need some help on the Hurst shifter linkage. Does anyone have a diagram of how the linkage goes from the shifter to the trans. The way I have it set up the reverse lever just barely touches the rod. I know that isn't tight. Any help would be appreciated.
linkeage is the same as the Muncie...you probably have to adjust the linkeage...put the tranny arms in neutral and then stick a drill bit, into the shifter, top of shifter frame to lock the arms, then adjust the linkeage...

I's also very easy to "flip" the shift arms on the trans. they still fit, but the rods won't quite reach. Something to check.
