Broke the dash pad!!
I reset the windshield today and prior to that I was reinstalling the dash pad. I'll be damned if it didn't snap in half. Nice $300 F up. I knew there was a chance, but was hoping for a better outcome. I guess the only bright side is, that I'm replacing the interior and it might have looked like crap. That is about the only way I can rationalize it right now!!

It was ugly. I was so messed up I even posted in the wrong section. It happens. I guess the almost 40 yo plastic didn't have much flex left. I had pulled it out to have some work done to the window frame. The windshield is reset and I'll just press on. I'm replacing most of my interior anyway, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
