Bargains at Barrett Jackson ??
Before the auction I looked thru the listings and checked out the pics and descriptions of a few cars that caught my interest. One of these was a 64 Jaguar XKE convertible. What I liked the most about this car was the description, completely devoid of the usual hyperbole and b.s.!!
It read:
One of the all time classic sixties sports cars, this is an inexpensive and usable XKE Roadster that is not a show car. It appears to be very strong mechanically and runs well.
But the pictures.... I know they are just pictures, looked very nice. This car (lot #57) sold for $16,600. MJ
