Help with crate engine choice

The 350HO is the engine I chose and I will be installing it in about three weeks from now. Had to clean up the engine bay and a few more minor issues before I could install the 350HO. The Tremec TKO500 5-Speed, Hydraulic Clutch, new front end, new springs, new A-Arms and a Steeroids conversions will help make my 77 a dream to drive. I can't wait to see how my tame 77 will perform and then most will see that my Avatar name 77Sleeper, will be just that.I almost went with the 350/290 but wanted the vortec heads and just a bit more spunk. Either way the warranty and performance should both make you happy.

I've got this engine with the pypes dual exhaust system and hedman headers:

Fits well and has a great idle with the aftermarket cam. Gas mileage isn't too impressive, but who cares!
