VBP #420 spring question
Just bought a VBP #420 rear spring 1/2 " shorter on each end from forum member bluzman2004...Can I reduce or eliminate the rubber block on top of the spring to lower my rear ride height so I can go back to 8" spring bolts. I have 10" bolts with a steel spring now.

I wouldn't hesitate to reduce it but I wouldn't eliminate it completely.
On mine, I left the pad intact but took out the spring bolt bushings/donuts and replaced them with 1/4" aluminum spacers. I do not drive my car on the street however.
