I just sprayed some Rust Check undercoating (sray can) in my wheel well and on the frame. It cleaned it out pretty good and also should protect the metal parts.
My question is:
Is this product safe on fiberglass? It says on the can that it won't affect paint but i don't know if they took Corvette Fiberglass bodies into consideration.
When I sandblasted my 73 replacement frame the only parts that had any rust pitting were under the factory undercoating. I'm not familiar with the product you used but of you want to protect the frame I would go with something like RustBullet or POR. You should check with the manufacturer to see if the undercoating is safe to use on fiberglass. The factory sprayed the wheelwells with undercoating so I'm guessing it's safe but contact the company to be sure. Chemicals have changed a lot in the last 30 years.

I've used rustcheck on the inside of my frame after I had sandblasted and painted it. Being an oil based product I would not spray it on the fiberglass. For 1 it won't be of any benifit and I would worry about it soaking into the glass strands and causing problems down the road when you go to paint or recoat.
Great product for soaking in and stopping rust in its tracks. I use it on all my drivers inside doors etc http://www.rustcheck.com/
I've been a professional painter since 1975. I've had VERY good results with 3M undercoating from a spray can. I've painted motorcycles over 25 years ago and they still have that undercoating there, in good shape. My own Harley-Davidson has 50,000 miles on 3 coats of 3M undercoating, still in good shape.
I'm not saying that other stuff isn't just as good, this is my luck with this product.
The underside top of the front fenders in the wheel well came from the factory with undercoat sprayed on to prevent paint cracks from thrown up stones.

That is a new one for me. I have never seen undercoating on a motorcycle.

Very good grasshopper, you can read. Now tommorrow we will work on implied content.
For example, we were talking about undercoating, under.......oh say......wheelwells. I made mention of undercoating use on a motorcycle. Implied content would sugggest that it would be used on the underside of said fenders, thus, undercoating.
Are you starting to see how this stuff works now??
If I lost you on the intent, I'm really sorry for that, you must study hard to learn more grasshopper, then you can read, and UNDERSTAND what is written. OK, I'm over it now! Tank
Sorry BigBlockTank, did not mean to offend.
I have always owned motorcycles and currently have three, but I am one of those **** types that will take three or four hours after a trip to clean and polish. This includes inside the fenders of course just in case someone with a mirror and a flashlight happened to look in there.
Why would saying "thats a new one on me" or "I never heard on that" offend anybody? No offence intended guy.
I know the comments were not directed to me, but I think maybe it might have been implied...
