I have searched and read some of the posts regarding stripping and painting. What I have not been able to find is if anyone has experience with using the Captain Lee's Spra stripper on their urethane bumpers. I have an 81 that I am getting ready to strip and paint and would like to know if anyone has an issue with using this product to strip the bumpers, both front and back??
Being a USAF trained painter, and going on to paint professionally since 1975, I was taught not to use chemical strippers on fiberglass, composites, rubbers, etc. I've never done it, so I can't give you test results.
Some people use strippers and are happy with the results.
those who know better use a razor blade. Faster, cheaper, easier, cleaner, less damage to the body.
