Middle of engine detail and I've lost interest...most of this is the fact that it'll be gone in a month and its been to cold to do anything, and I still can't get those f-in bolts out. When I do get the bolts out, and start to put it back together, Im not going to detail it like i origionally planned, maybe I'll shoot the block, valve covers and air cleaner, shoot the headers(in the car), and the firewall, and call it a day. I hate to skimp on it like that, but I have no interested in it...(I won't lie)...I want to take care of my baby, but I also want to drive her once more before she is sold. I talked to a car lot and they are going to help me sell it for a little bit of the profit(they'll still working out how much, but I think I could deal with $1000 or so, it will make selling it for me easier because I won't know when it goes, or who it goes to). Plus its a dealership, and they tend to get top dolar for not-so-top end cars. Like i think I can get 8-10K for 'er, the dealer will prolly get like 12....we have a lot of marines here who will spend money before they research...
Anyway, just giving you guys an update. Hopefully this weekend it will go back together. So I can get a week of driving before it goes to the body shop, then the car dealer.
I'd buy that car from you if I could, dude. It's too bad I'm poor too. :( Ah well. Try to win her back some day!

Yup. "you need a commuter" says my parents. They assume Im going to leave Charlotte to come see them every weekend while Im at school.
Probably not...But then again, a 'vette chillin at a college dorm or cheap appartment while Im out with friends, or up in my room, doesn't excite me very much either. Or leaving it outside the dry cleaners down town  . I think its best this way. Not saying anything bad about Charlotte, but I've been there, I would never get sleep if the 'vette was with me. I can't even leave it outside my house without the doors locked. To put that in perspective, we never lock our doors, our neighbors are old retired people...we have NO crime around here, but Im still worried, I'd die in a "major" city with that car.
