Default Stainless Braided plug wires??

As part of my last progect on my shark I would like to clean up the engine area. Does any CF member have these stainless braided spark plug wires on their shark. How are they held in place, being that they are not supposed to be run through the stock plug wire sheilds? I know most big block vettes have em. Or so I'm told. Thanks, L8TER, Paul.

It's been a long time since I bought them. Seems like I got them from Ecklers or Summit.

I have'em, but they are stock and run over the valve covers where small blocks run under the exhaust.

Electric whatever advertises them in Corvette Fever for about $85.

Hope this helps

I have them. I wanted something stronger/thicker than stock, so I went with Accel's braided wires. I think I ordered them through Summit racing. Just go to the Accel web site and get your part number, then order it through the Summit web site. They had mine in stock. I run them with the stock shielding, no problem.

FYI, they have blue boots, not the stock black.

Summit has the Accel for $42.95. Page 125 in the catalog. :D
Been there and been looking at them my self.
How do they fit through the stock grommets on the stock shielding?

They fit fine, no problem at all with my stock '68 shielding.

I could dig up the part number, but since I have a big block it would be the wrong number for you. Just go to the http://www.mrgasket.com web site and check the Accel catalog, that's what I did to get the part number.

Flareside, Yes definatly. The part # would be different. I simply called Summit and ordered the correct set for my smallblock. The Accels willl not fit the ignition shielding on my L-82 motor. They are too short. I had to get the Taylors. They should be here by mid-week. Thanks for the web site!! L8TER, Paul.
