If the motor has power and not operating, you could try taking out the motor and cleaning all the goop and dirt that accumulated around the gear shaft in the motor. That old grease can get like cement after years. Clean it all out good and then WD 40 around the shaft and repack with Luberplate. Also as said in another post, clean the contacts. If it still doesnt work after that time for a new motor. If the motor is turning and the window doesnt move, then look to the window regulator gear, that has a tendency to strip out in the area of operation. Also the gear on the motor.
Good Luck

Fixed it! Damn thing was stuck somehow. I checked the wires all looked okay and it made a click sound when power was applied. I hit the top side once with the rachet wrench and presto. It seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help. :smash:
My driver's side power window sticks every once and a while. It seems like there is a "dead spot" on the motor. If I bump the inside door panel ever so gently it starts working again....I can't tell you how many times I've had that door apart.
My passenger side window did the same thing last year and the Corvette Museum. Window was down, (of course), and would not budge. I pushed down on the window a little bit, and the window has worked fine ever since.
Go figure.
