Guys
Even if the spring is set 1 step down from full tension the window should work fine just a little slower at top.

Replacing the gear is much better than the repair kit. Expect the thin SS repair kit gear to eventually cut the motor gear.

Bernie, that's a good point. Assuming the adjustments still yield problems, I'll look at that next. I'd rather not dive into the console if I don't have to.

I think I have enough to try now. One of them should do the trick. When I get my chance to work on it, I'll post to give updates.

Thanks for all of your help.
Just remember you can adjust the in/out on the rear track as well. Chances are its just the front but you never know.

Eyeball the stops when you have it full up as well. The rollers are suppose to hit the stops on the rear and front.

6'3" and 280? Should make it interesting.Let us know.

Well, I FINALLY had some time to get on my window problem. And yes, it was a little tight adjusting the window from inside the car, but not terrible. The driver side now works fine, but I do have a gap between my B pillar W/strip and my window that I can't seem to get rid of. I'll have to get a shot of it one of these nights. It was too late by the time I finished last night for a good shot. Any advise on how to clean that up?

As for the passenger window, haha, that was an entirely different problem. My passenger window stopped short of the top by about 2", like I told you guys, regardless if the door was open or closed. When I attempted to pull the door panel off, I had quite the fight. Now I've taken that panel off a dozen times because of this issue, and never had a problem. It was the bottom screw to the pull handle that was the problem. It would run out for about 2 turns, then jam. After about 30minutes, I finally got it out. It had a clear U-bend in it, like it was struck my something.

That something turned out to be my new regulator. The screw was a little too long for this particular regulator and smashes right into it. However, that didn't cause the bend, entirely. The night I discovered this initial problem, I had to get my window up so she would seal under my car cover since she sits outside.

However, since it was jamming, I decided to pull up on the glass to bring it up (this is what I used to do when the regulator teeth were gone). I heard metal pop from inside the door, but assumed it was possibly the motor and regulator gears skipping since the motor could not turn. So, looks like I need a new, shorter screw, haha. When I take a picture of the window gap, I'll take a picture of the screw as well.

Thanks again for all of your help guys!
